Bloomberg, founding sponsor of Suits to Go—a pick-up service for work-appropriate women’s clothing donations from residential and business locations in New York City's five boroughshas provided Dress for Success Worldwide with a multi-year grant to support this initiative, a first for Dress for Success. Dress for Success Worldwide’s storage warehouse, also funded by Bloomberg as part of the Suits to Go program, houses the inventory collected by the pick-up service. Thanks to Bloomberg, Dress for Success Worldwide is now able to provide women with additional clothing for job interviews and employment.

A longtime supporter of Dress for Success, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics continues its commitment to the organization by providing funding and in-kind donations of new cosmetics in support of Dress for Success Worldwide’s programs and services. Bobbi Brown makes a monetary donation to Dress for Success in conjunction with each of her appearances on QVC in addition to a contribution connected to her monthly column in Prevention. In 2009, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics donated 20,000 make-up kits to Dress for Success clients.  This is the largest cosmetic donation for the organization to date.  Bobbi also created Bobbi Brown’s  tips for success book that accompanies each kit, complete with her advice on how to live your very best life. The brand regularly provides make-up artists for various Dress for Success events featuring our clients and overall, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics prides itself on making every woman that comes to Dress for Success look and feel beautiful. 

Bobbi is a member of the Dress for Success Worldwide board of directors and chaired the 2007 Suits, Strength & Success 10th anniversary gala, which raised $1.1 million under her leadership.

Through generous grants from the Citi Foundation, four Dress for Success affiliates will implement our Financial Literacy Program, a curriculum designed for Professional Women’s Group members who want to improve their financial knowledge. Affiliates have also been able to create and expand their Career Center programs thanks to the generosity of Citi.  In addition, Citi was a Presenting Sponsor of our 2009 Affiliate Leadership Conference.

Coffee-mate
Coffee-mate is donating $150,000 to Dress for Success Worldwide as a result of its Cup of Confidence campaign. Coffee-mate asked consumers to send a Cup of Confidence to benefit Dress for Success and its clients. For each note of encouragement written to a Dress for Success client at www.coffee-mate.com/dfs by consumers, Coffee-mate donated $2.00 to Dress for Success Worldwide.  Coffee-mate also donated $1.00 each time the Coffee-mate badge was posted on Facebook and other social media sites.

Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits, wine and alcohol categories, created Something To Share™ as a platform for people to share their knowledge, experience and passion to benefit the women supported by Dress for Success. Something To Share™ launched in 2008 and to celebrate, Ciroc brand ambassador Sean Combs generously designed a signature silk scarf and pocket square that were sold both online and by our affiliate networks. 100% of the net proceeds ($10 per scarf and $15 per pocket square) from the sale of each benefit Dress for Success.

Express collaborated with Model.Live, a broadband video series that documented the lives of three models on their way to fashion shows around the world.  The 12-episode show revealed the truth about how professional models live and the hard work and commitment required to achieve star status.  Created by IMG Media and sponsored by EXPRESS.com, the series aired on Vogue.TV in the summer of 2008.  As part of this collaboration, Express designed a limited edition t-shirt and tank with $5 from the sale of each benefiting Dress for Success Worldwide Express continued its generous support of Dress for Success through a monetary contribution in 2009.

FedEx, a leader in global shipping and transportation services, has been a presenting sponsor of Dress for Success Worldwide's gala for the past five years.  FedEx continues its sponsorship the Dress for Success Congressional Challenge, a suit drive competition between members of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC.  In addition, FedEx donated its booth at the NAACP 100th anniversary convention to Dress for Success.  FedEx sponsored a Mother's Day brunch in Memphis and New York City in 2008 for members of the Professional Women's Group and their children. The events would not have been nearly as successful as they have been without FedEx's continued sponsorship.  FedEx also generously supports Dress for Success Worldwide with various shipping needs throughout the year enabling our headquarters to ship much needed apparel and accessory donations, as well as career resource materials, to our worldwide network.

Kimpton Hotels, renowned for its collection of stylish, independent lifestyle hotels, is our exclusive hospitality sponsor.  Just as Dress for Success works one-on-one with women to ensure that they feel confident, respected and supported, Kimpton concentrates on making each individual guest's experience unique and special. Kimpton is involved with Dress for Success on many levels, from donating hotel and meeting rooms for our Professional Women's Group Success Summit, to local fundraising events with our affiliates. Since 2007, select Kimpton properties have hosted a series of fundraising events each Spring that directly support the local affiliate.  During July, Kimpton will host “Scoop for Success,” its month-long celebration of ice cream benefitting Dress for Success affiliates. Love, Loss and What I Wore
Love, Loss and What I Wore is an intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron based on the best-selling book and featuring an all-star rotating cast performing in four week cycles.  Using clothing and accessories and the memories that they trigger, LOVE, LOSS is hilarious and poignant.  The rotating cast includes: Samantha Bee, Mary Birdsong, Kristin Chenoweth, Tyne Daly, Lucy DeVito, Katie Finneran, Capathia Jenkins, Lisa Joyce, Jane Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, Rosie O'Donnell, Rhea Perlman,  Mary Louise Wilson and Rita Wilson.

Lucky Shops

Dress for Success was the 2009 charitable partner of Lucky Shops, Lucky Magazine’s premier shopping event that featured over 75 designers at up to 70% off retail. 100% of all proceeds from the Dress for Success booth and a portion of the VIP ticket sales were donated to Dress for Success.*

Marshalls

In honor of working women, Marshalls, one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers, donated $100,000 to Dress for Success Worldwide with its "Unlock Your Shopportunity” program (www.facebook.com/marshalls). Consumers across the nation unlocked their own Marshalls shopportunity for a chance to win a $5,000 designer wardrobe for spring on Facebook.  For every key earned, Marshalls donated $1, up to $100,000, to Dress for Success Worldwide to create opportunities for women across the country. The online component of the program concluded with a live fashion show unveiling the makeovers of three Dress for Success clients courtesy of celebrity stylist, Robert Verdi, on April 28 in New York City. The fashion show was broadcasted live on www.ustream.tv!


 Nice 'n Easy

Clairol has been a leader in hair color innovation for more than 75 years.  Nice ‘n Easy is a permanent hair colorant with a blend of three tones for natural-looking color and dimension. Nice ‘n Easy is partnering with Dress for Success Worldwide to make ever mirror moment a good one.  Every time a consumer shares Gigi’s Surprise Mirror Moments video starring Angela Kinsey with friends and family here. $1 will be donated to Dress for Success Worldwide, up to $50,000.  In addition, Nice ‘n Easy will also donate hair color to help women feel empowered by looking their best.


The Palm Restaurant Group, the nation’s classic American steak house, dedicates October, November and December to raising money and awareness for Dress for Success.  Since 2007, The Palm has generated substantial funds for Dress for Success Worldwide and select affiliates; to date, nearly $100,000 has been raised. The Palm hosts various fundraising and VIP events in conjunction with Dress for Success affiliates around the country. This partnership is part of PalmCares, the company's philanthropic program.

QVC

QVC National Makeover Day on May 20th raised awareness of Dress for Success’s mission to help disadvantaged women achieve economic independence. Six women from Dress for Success affiliates across the country were featured on National Makeover Day, sharing their stories of transformation. QVC and the sponsors of National Makeover Day, including Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Bradley Bayou, Suze Orman, Tracy Hutson, Neutrogena, Laura G. Adams and Grettastyle, have made a collective donation to Dress for Success of $250,000.*

Robert Half International (RHI) is a recognized leader in professional staffing and consulting services, and Dress for Success is thrilled to have RHI as our exclusive staffing sponsor. RHI has supported nine Career Centers since 2005 and offered Professional Women's Group members job-skills evaluations and access to more than 2,500 online training modules. RHI has sponsored the Professional Women’s Group Success Summit since 2005, rewarded our annual Community Action Project award winners and sponsored the Dress for Success Worldwide 2007 and 2008 leadership conference awards, which honor leading affiliates and PWG members. Dress for Success clients have been provided SkillSoft online training courses since 2007 and RHI has committed to the continuation of this service through 2010. Additionally, RHI has donated the printing cost of an interview skills booklet that is distributed to clients. By providing a wide spectrum of job search and career development services to Dress for Success clients, RHI truly complements Dress for Success' efforts to help women thrive in the mainstream workplace. The Style Network
The destination for women with a passion for the best in relatable and inspiring lifestyle programming, The Style Network is our exclusive television media partner. The Style Network has supported the Send One Suit efforts as a national sponsor since 2007 by creating and airing public service announcements and by airing special Dress for Success episodes of How Do I Look?. The network also produced and aired a PSA campaign featuring our board member, Bobbi Brown. Since 2007, The Style Network has conducted 14 "Style Bus" events throughout the U.S. Affiliates and local supporters were thrilled to have the chance to experience a mini-makeover from beauty experts onboard the fully-customized bus. Complimentary services ranged from a blowout and a new "do," to a makeup consultation and manicure. This year, The Style Network produced Dress for Success Worldwide's latest informational video featuring several Dress for Success clients; this video is used for various marketing needs and was unveiled at the Worldwide gala in April 2009. In addition, The Style Network hosted Give, Get & Fete in July, a fundraising event for the launch of Dress for Success’ Worldwide West office.

Ban

AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company - through a grant from the AXA Foundation - has created the Pursuit Beyond the Suit scholarship program.  Graduates from the 13 affiliate locations of Dress for Success's Financial Literacy Program will be able to apply and scholarship recipients will be awarded with funds to help achieve their educational and life enrichment goals.  AXA Equitable will also partner with Dress for Success affiliates in Charlotte, Hudson County, Newark, and South Central PA on the local level.  In business since 1859, AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company is a leading financial protection company and one of the nation’s premier providers of life insurance and annuity products, as well as investment products and services.


Through the generous support of The Bank of New York Mellon, a leading asset management and securities services company, nine Dress for Success affiliates will implement our Financial Literacy Program, a curriculum designed for Professional Women’s Group members who want to improve their financial knowledge.

Barclays Wealth Americas, one of the largest financial services providers in the world, is supporting Dress for Success through 2012 with generous donations of $10,000 each year.

In September 2009 and April 2010, the Sutton Department in select Bloomingdale's stores  partnered with Dress for Success affiliates around the country inviting shoppers to donate a nearly-new career wear item in the Sutton department to receive 25% off new Sutton Studio purchases of $150 or more. Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Inc., in conjunction with 13 Dress for Success affiliates, hosted comprehensive tax information seminars aimed at educating women about tax preparation and budget planning.  Hundreds of Dress for Success clients attended these sessions held throughout the country in 2009 and 2010. Jackson Hewitt is an industry leader, providing full service and individual federal and state income tax return preparation.

Jackson Lewis LLP, one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing workplace law firms, is proud to serve as a national corporate sponsor to Dress for Success and a Gold Sponsor for its “Women In Business: Making Change” event in New York City.  In 2009, Jackson Lewis generously contributed $25,000 to the organization and hosts a Professional Women’s Group workshop each month in its New York office for Dress for Success clients. Middle Sister Wines is generously supporting Dress for Success Worldwide through a monetary contribution of $10,000 this year.

Since 2009, Monster has included Dress for Success in its Keep America Working tour by offering clients in select cities a workshop to learn best practices for finding a job and navigating a career fair, as well as the opportunity to attend Monster’s career fair. Nearly 1,000 clients from 22 Dress for Success affiliates participated with a number of them receiving interviews and job offers. Previously, Monster generously funded 27 Career Centers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Dress for Success was one of three finalists for the Naturalizer Friends and Family charity campaign. During this program, Naturalizer donated $1 for every pair of shoes sold, up to $20,000 to the charitable organization that received the most votes. Dress for Success Worldwide was the charitable partner of Shop the Shoe To-Do event at Neiman Marcus, in March 2010! When consumers purchased two or more regular priced shoes in-store or online, Neiman Marcus donated $50 to Dress for Success Worldwide, with a minimum contribution of $25,000.

Dress for Success is a charitable partner for eLearner's Project Working Mom 2010, which helps deserving moms and dads find the time, money, and the confidence necessary to complete their college degrees. In the past three years, Project Working Mom has awarded more than 150 college scholarships to deserving mothers and fathers, worth a combined total of nearly $6 million. Dress for Success’ Professional Women’s Group members will be encouraged to apply for full-tuition college scholarships through Project Working Mom.

Simone Pérèle, designer of fine French lingerie, empowers and liberates women through its products that evoke not only elegance and fashion but also comfort and well-being. In this spirit, Simone Pérèle, a proud new partner of Dress for Success, is committed to raising $25,000 and donating more than 500 pieces of Simone Pérèle lingerie this year. In its “Fit for Success” program, Simone Pérèle is donating $5 for every purchase in retail stores or online and $1 for every “Quote of Confidence” shared on its Web site www.SimonePerele.com/FitforSuccess.
